COURT BENCH WARRANT: VIPD Hunting for 29-Year-Old Jalima Jones for Contempt of Court
Police issue alert for St. Croix native known to frequent Lorraine Village and Harbor View housing communities.

ST. CROIX — The Virgin Islands Police Department is requesting immediate assistance from the public to locate 29-year-old Jalima Jones, who is currently wanted on an active criminal warrant for Contempt of Court.
An official bulletin issued by the VIPD Forensic/Identification Section and the Criminal Investigation Bureau on Monday, June 1, indicates that tracking teams are actively searching for Jones across multiple residential zones on the island.
According to authorities, Jones's exact current whereabouts are unknown, but she maintains deep ties to both the western and central districts of St. Croix. Police records state she resides in or heavily frequents the Lorraine Village complex in Estate Grove Place, as well as the Harbor View Apartments located just west of Christiansted.
Jones is described as an African American female, born on St. Croix, standing approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 206 pounds. She has black hair, brown eyes, and a dark complexion.
While the underlying judicial proceedings that triggered the Contempt of Court bench warrant remain sealed under standard protocol, the VIPD is treating the execution of the court's order as a priority public safety matter.
