SINT MAARTEN — Local aviation enthusiasts and coffee lovers alike were buzzing this Friday after a brightly colored visitor was spotted on the tarmac at Princess Juliana International Airport.
The famous JetBlue “Brewing Altitude” aircraft, a specially commissioned Airbus A320-232, was captured in a striking photo by Rola Legoubey as it prepared for its next leg in the Caribbean.
The jet, which carries the registration N643JB, features a vibrant pink and orange livery celebrating JetBlue’s long-standing partnership with Dunkin’. While the aircraft is technically designed for passenger travel, residents in St. Croix are holding out hope that the flight path leads to Henry E. Rohlsen Airport—ideally packed with an emergency cargo of fresh glazed donuts and hot coffee to fuel the territory.
Whether it’s a scheduled stop or a sweet surprise, the sight of the Dunkin’ jet is a welcome splash of color in our island skies.

If Elon Musk ever follows through on moving his stakes to the Caribbean, he might find that a high-speed satellite connection is good, but a fresh cruller delivered by an Airbus is even better!
