ST. CROIX COURT WATCH: Murder, Weapons, and Domestic Violence Charges Top Monday Docket

KINGSHILL — The Superior Court of the Virgin Islands saw a heavy rotation of criminal advice-of-rights hearings Monday morning, as Judge Yolan C. Brow Ross presided over a calendar ranging from first-degree murder to domestic battery.

Lead Case: First-Degree Murder and Weapons Charges

Topping the docket was Turrel Thomas, who appeared in connection with two separate criminal matters. In the primary case, Thomas faces a litany of felony charges including First-Degree Murder, Attempted First-Degree Murder, and multiple counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm.

The court also addressed a second matter involving Thomas, where he is charged with possession of a firearm with an altered identification mark. Thomas is being represented by the Office of the Territorial Public Defender.

Domestic Violence and Assault

Blakeshan Graham appeared before Judge Brow Ross to face charges of Simple Assault and Battery and Domestic Violence. The charges stem from an alleged incident involving a violation of local domestic violence statutes.

Peace and Order Violations

The morning session concluded with appearances by Melissa Ann Cunningham and Tamysha Osorio-Ramos. Both defendants are facing charges of Disturbing the Peace, a violation of 5 V.I.C. 3802.
