🚨 UPDATE — MAY 22, 2026: The Virgin Islands Police Department has officially confirmed that 14-year-old Ryley Hull has been located safe. The VIPD extended its gratitude to the St. Croix and St. Thomas communities for sharing his profile and assisting in bringing vital awareness to the search. The original missing person report remains below for archival purposes.

ST. THOMAS — The Virgin Islands Police Department is requesting urgent assistance from the community to locate 14-year-old Ryley Hull, who has been reported missing.

While official police reports note that Ryley was last seen at his residence on Thursday evening, May 21, multiple real-time citizen reports place the teenager in the Red Hook commercial corridor on foot yesterday afternoon. Community members reported sighting Ryley alongside a friend, with both carrying skateboards, at the following locations on Thursday:

  • 1:30 PM: Spotted at Lattes in Paradise at American Yacht Harbor.

  • 2:30 PM: Seen walking past the Tap & Still restaurant.

  • Late Thursday Afternoon: Observed walking across from the Food Center on Red Hook Road.

📋 Physical Description & Identifiers

Residents, business owners, and boaters in the East End, Estate Nazareth, Vessup Beach, and National Park Dock areas are urged to be on high alert. Ryley is described as:

  • Height/Weight: 5’2” tall, approximately 100 lbs.

  • Physical Build: Slim build, light complexion, brown eyes, and black hair.

  • Last Seen Wearing: Black shorts featuring distinctive rainbow accents, a dark-colored top, and gray sandals. He is likely traveling on foot or via skateboard.
