COCOONED IN CRIME: Trespasser Found Asleep Wrapped in Pool Table Cover After Frydendahl Break-In

ST. THOMAS — A local property manager’s sharp eye and stubborn persistence led police straight to an erratic intruder who allegedly broke into a private estate, pilfered vehicle keys, and decided to take a late-night nap wrapped up like a burrito inside a pool table cover.
John Na'Sahn Walker is facing criminal charges this morning after transforming a high-end recreational space into a personal, makeshift hotel room.
The cinematic sequence of events began just before midnight on Monday, June 1, 2026. Officer Shunna Greenaway was dispatched to Estate Frydendahl #17 following an urgent trespassing report lodged by property manager informed responding officers that the homeowner's daughter, had been startled around 11:30 PM when she spotted an unknown male staring directly into her rear bedroom window.
When Ryon reviewed the estate’s security surveillance feeds, he realized he was dealing with a repeat offender. The camera footage caught the same individual walking up and down the private driveway earlier that morning at 8:18 AM, prompting a previous police report.
The late-night tracking footage eventually pinpointed the suspect's last known location: the estate's detached pool room.
When the property manager and police approached the structure, they discovered the door was firmly locked from the inside. Initial glances through the windows yielded negative results, and Ryon noticed that the keys to two of the property’s Kawasaki side-by-side utility vehicles were missing, alongside a red, signature Donald Trump "Make America Great Again" baseball cap.
Refusing to let the trail go cold, the property manager climbed up onto a high exterior ledge to peer through a different window pane at a sharper angle. From his elevated vantage point, he noticed something bizarre: the heavy, fabric cover of the room's pool table had been entirely removed and was bunched up unnaturally in the far corner of the floor. It looked exactly as if someone was hiding underneath it.
The property manager quickly found a spare key, granting officers entry to the room. Upon pulling back the pool table cover, police discovered Walker fast asleep on the floorboards.
Walker, matching the surveillance footage description down to his long-sleeved white shirt and light-colored jogger pants, was awakened and taken into custody without further incident. While the political hat remains missing, a search of Walker’s black backpack successfully recovered both stolen Kawasaki ignition keys, which were promptly returned to the property manager.
Walker was transported to the Richard N. Callwood Command, where he was photographed and processed by Forensic Detective Paula Telemaque. He stands charged with Unlawful Entry under 14 V.I.C. § 1747(2) and Trespass under 14 V.I.C. § 1741(a).
Bail was set at $1,000. Walker spent the night at the Bureau of Corrections ahead of his Advice of Rights hearing scheduled for Wednesday morning at the Magistrate Court in Barbel Plaza—assuming he can finally wake up in time for court.
