KINGSHILL — The fallout from a brutal October assault at the Blue Bamboo Club took center stage at the Superior Court on Thursday, as three suspects faced the bench while the territory continued its aggressive crackdown on illegal dumping.

The ‘Blue Bamboo’ Assault Trial

The afternoon session before Judge Christopher M. Timmons focused on the criminal proceedings following a violent incident at the Blue Bamboo Club on October 26, 2025. According to VIPD reports, an adult female victim was punched repeatedly and struck in the face with an object, resulting in visible injuries.

The investigation led to the January arrest of three individuals now facing the court:

  • Craig Hendrickson, 61: Appearing for a bench trial today, Hendrickson faces charges of Simple Assault and Battery, alongside separate charges for littering and waste disposal violations.

  • Jamalia Hendrickson, 32: Arrested alongside Craig, she faces charges of Assault Third Degree and Simple Assault and Battery.

  • Renisha Allick Randolph, 35: Identified as a primary suspect in the assault, Randolph was previously remanded to the John Bell Adult Correction Facility after being unable to post a $25,000 bail.

Morning Advice of Rights

In the morning session, the court heard the Advice of Rights for Catherine Willey, who was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor (DUI). Willey is represented by the Office of the Territorial Public Defender.

Environmental Enforcement Continues

The court's dedicated "Litter Calendar" highlights a continued push by local law enforcement to address unauthorized waste disposal. Officer Dale Amos issued two citations on March 22, 2026, leading to hearings today for:

  • Jose M. Maldonado Osorio (Case No. SX-2026-LT-00040), cited for disposal of waste at an unauthorized site.

  • Sylvester G. Blake (Case No. SX-2026-LT-00041), facing identical charges under 19 V.I.C. 1563(18).
